This pop up for me is so special!! Leah is a pilates content creator, she has her own pilates app with 1000s of members worldwide, and is honestly such a cool instructor! I followed her before I became an instructor and now I can’t believe I get to work on an event with her!

ELORA X SQZ 7/27 10:30AM

I have been spending a lot of my free time getting to know other founders - was able to get coffee with the founder of Elora, who is actually in college still, super impressive!! She is building Elora because she was having a hard time finding the perfect hairstylist that would match her hair needs, location needs, and budget! Check out the Elora insta here:

SQZ UPDATES

-I’m actually obsessed with the building process of SQZ and figuring things out, having events and hearing clients say “omg I didn’t know I could use SQZ like ____ “ - it’s exactly what the events are for!

-Sometimes I feel like I’m doing a lot of BTS work for no reason, and then I’ll get a bunch of orders and realize that every single event, tiktok, instagram, zoom call makes a difference - the result might not be instant though

-We got another bulk studio order, putting SQZ in 8 studio locations in just 2 months, the rings are currently in transit and I will reach out to the owner once they deliver

I love my life and my job genuinely! It definitely has it’s negatives though, for example - the amount of times I have had to say no to events, beach days, birthday parties etc has been in the double digits this summer - since my schedule goes up 4 weeks in advance - I really can’t do last minute plans. Also the no remote work for pilates/no pto definitely does suck, but I genuinely would rather have this than go back to working at my old job (and this could be super specific to my old job because I had no passion for it). There are definitely some corporate jobs that I think I would still love to do (like working at a start up as a community manager/leader or working with new founders and helping them grow/get funding).

I can’t wait to see how SQZ grows in the next 6 months 🙂
