Hi Movers!!
Growth of the newsletter is still going strong - we are almost at 1.2k! Thank you so much for subscribing - this is a great way to stay notified of all my reformer classes, events, free mat classes, online classes, and my life updates/SQZ updates.
BUSY BUSY WEEK
Before we debrief - here is what you all are waiting for:

Currently working on events with SO MANY FOUNDERS - so more info on that soon. Dms were flooded this week and planning these events take time but super excited! As always, if you have a brand or a product let me know and I’d love to collab!

Pitch
SQZ got selected as a finalist for the Shopify Pitch & Shop Competition!! 6 people got selected in total and we get 5 minutes to pitch our product to win some grant money. I currently haven’t given away equity/raised money - so any time there is a pitch or grant, you better believe I am applying haha!
What I would do with the money: SEO!!!! Can you guys believe all my sales so far have been through word of mouth or social media? But imagine the doors that would open if you went online and searched “magic circle” or “pilates ring” and SQZ was on the front page. It would open a whole new pipeline, so that’s kind of where I’m at. But we are still going strong - I need to buy more inventory but I guess…I’m procrastinating a bit since I don’t feel like spending tens of thousands of dollars right now lol.
Sculpt W SQZ 6/7
THIS EVENT WAS SO FUN!!! I kid you not, we were all drenched in sweat, it might have been the humidity but I’m going to let SQZ take all the credit. I then ended up getting matcha with a girl from class who is also building her own fitness app (love my fellow founders) and then when we got to the cafe, we ran into 2 other girls from the event. TURNS OUT THE OTHER TWO GIRLS MET AT THE CLASS AND DECIDED TO GET COFFEE WITH EACH OTHER AFTER - THIS IS LEGIT WHAT MY GOAL IS!!!!! ❤️ I tear up a bit when I see people make friends in my classes lol
